The Winchester House California

Built by Sarah Winchester. Supposedly the psychic she visited and the exact exchange between them overlaps into the realm of legend and rumor, but I personally don’t find it hard to believe, considering what a giant crack joint she built. Victorian homes are creepy with just 8 rooms, what with their lonely towers, spires, and detail so overworked it is saddening. But 160 rooms? There is architecture, and then there is obsession. Clearly a disturbed woman.
